Join Amarli Army for a day of purpose, fun and community spirit !
Trek for Amarli 2026 brings family, friends and supporters together for a 30km coastal walk from Stanwell Park to Wollongong Harbour, all inspired by Amarli’s incredible journey.
This year, funds raised through Trek for Amarli will be donated to the CureGRIN Foundation to support research into better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for GRIN disorders.
Walk the full 30km, join us for part of the journey, or simply meet us at the finish line. Then celebrate with us from 1:00pm at WISOS (Wiseman Park Bowling Club) with live music, raffles, children’s entertainment and plenty of community spirit.
Every step makes a difference.
In August 2024, a team of family, relatives and close friends of Amarli’s, trekked up and down the Snowdonia Mountain Range in Northern Wales UK six times continuously (roughly 60 miles) in the hope of completing the trek in the space of 50 hours. Snowdonia was chosen by Lee's cousin Stephen as it signified the "ups and downs" that Amarli has been through during these first seven years of her precious life.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Amarli Army and helped make our fundraising efforts so special. 2025 was an incredible year for the Amarli Army community, with our supporters coming together in a huge way through the i98FM Illawarra Convoy. We are enormously proud of what was achieved and incredibly grateful to every person, family and business who played a part.
In 2026, our journey continues with a new focus.
This year, Trek for Amarli will bring our community together once again, with funds raised supporting the CureGRIN Foundation and its work to advance research into better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for GRIN disorders.
