Amarli’s 8th Birthday.

This year, she enjoyed a beautiful Unicorn Party surrounded by family and a few of her wonderful carers and their kids — and it was magic in every sense of the word.

A huge thank you to Adorable Pony Parties and Hannah for bringing along Mac the pony (our very own unicorn for the day). Mac was so gentle and patient with Amarli — it meant the world to see her light up.

🎄 A small but special win over Christmas

Over the Christmas break, Amarli was also able to spend a few days away at BIG4 Easts Beach Holiday Park.

This might seem like a simple thing… but for Amarli, it was a big moment. A chance to get out, enjoy a change of scenery, and create some normal family memories.

We’re incredibly grateful — thank you to the team at BIG4 for helping make that possible.

💭 Looking back…

This birthday carries even more meaning when we reflect.

Just one year ago, Amarli spent her 7th birthday in ICU, intubated and fighting for her life. There were real doubts… difficult conversations… and moments none of us will ever forget.

She also spent New Year’s Eve in hospital, continuing that fight.

💪 Still fighting. Still here.

Amarli has defied the odds time and time again. She continues to show strength beyond words.

And today — she’s here. Celebrating. Smiling. Turning 8.
