After a difficult week last week, including a hospital visit for a fractured leg, we’re very pleased to share that Amarli has had a good week at home recovering. She’s been resting, spending time with her family and, in true Amarli fashion, continuing to show us just how strong and determined she is. This photo was taken this afternoon. Sadly, Amarli has fractured her leg again, her second fracture. Amarli is non weight bearing. As result she is at high risk of fractures due to osteoporosis amongst her other co-morbidities. It is another reminder that the effects of Amarli’s rare condition extend far beyond the seizures and challenges people may immediately see. Yet through every hospital admission, procedure and setback, she continues to show extraordinary courage. For m
