ANOTHER TOUGH SETBACK FOR OUR BEAUTIFUL AMARLI

Sadly, Amarli has fractured her leg again, her second fracture.

Amarli is non weight bearing. As result she is at high risk of fractures due to osteoporosis amongst her other co-morbidities.

It is another reminder that the effects of Amarli’s rare condition extend far beyond the seizures and challenges people may immediately see.

Yet through every hospital admission, procedure and setback, she continues to show extraordinary courage.

For most children, a broken leg is difficult enough. For Amarli, it adds another layer to an already complex daily life and another recovery for her, her parents and everyone involved in her care. She is surrounded by love and receiving the care she needs.

Today, we are simply asking our friends, supporters and wider community to keep our brave little girl in their thoughts as she begins another recovery.

Thank you to everyone who continues to follow Amarli’s journey and stand beside our family.
